Dave has toured extensively during his ten-year DJ career, visiting countries including Argentina, Russia, Korea, Paraguay, Germany, China and Chile to play clubs such as Shanghai's Rojam, London's Ministry of Sound & Buenos Aires' Middawn. Currently Mr. Twomey is resident DJ for the massive Crossmountain Nights @ Womb (voted "2nd Best Club in the World" by DJ Mag in 2005), where he also hosts his own "YUK" event. Dave。funky, deep sets, always building, have warmed up the likes of Stewart Walker, Triple R, Dominik Eulberg and John Tejada in the past year and supported names such as Laurent Garnier, Lee Burridge. Strong guest mixes from Ryan Elliott, Alex Smoke, Tomas Anderson (to name a few) on his MYM & Maus Tokyo shows have also been making big waves as Samurai FM continues to dominate world net radio.
The station was voted most cutting-edge station by DJ Magazine in 2006 and Dave's has been in the top 20 most-listened shows from its inception. He performs using Rane's SSL system, laptop, turntables, CDJ's & FX. Attached to almost all the mailing lists under the sun and a total wave file junkie to boot - the sound is fresh as a daisy too.
The Bedroom Bedlam win in 2004 seems to have been just the spark to set things in motion.
